Hello everyone,

I am back, lately, with another post. I had been busy. So, today, I have a piece of fun with me. You'd love it!!! Its a flash based video, featuring two characters, saying you thankyou thankyou thankyou ..... and so on...

I like it very much, especially when it gets me the leadership among my siblings. They ask me to play it, and I make them fulfil all my demands, like you know, bringing me water, doing this doing that.... etc...

So lets get back to the topic... Below is the video. So all you would have to do is click the P L A Y button. I am sure you'll enjoy, and also hope you wont keep your friends from this (in other words, dont forget to share this post (haha)).

Internet Download Manager v6.07 (Final)

About the software:
Internet Download Manager is a software that manages your downloads from popular browsers such as Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome. The process mainly is that whenever you download a file from any website, IDM automatically shows you that its taking the download, and if the website from which you are downloading has a resume capability for its files, it will automatically take the job, so whenever you lose your internet connection, or if the light goes (happens rapidly in Pakistan), and your computer shuts down, the next time when you start your computer and connect to the internet, IDM automatically starts the rest of download, and so you dont need to begin the download again and again... Its a great thing. Another great feature is that you can download videos from popular video sites such as YouTube, MetaCafe, and Google Videos. A thing to know is that all these websites have resume capabilities, and so they will automatically download when you have an internet connection, and pause if there is a problem.

What is meant by "RESUME CAPABILITY"?
Consider the scenario that you are downloading a large file from YouTube, through IDM, and your brother disconnects the internet from the main connection, and the video progress is 96%. You wont dare to download the video again. In most cases, you would smash your brother's head (if he is younger), or do some damage to your brother's possession (if he is elder than you). But now, you wont have to worry, as when the internet connection breaks, IDM will pause the download, and whenever you reconnect, it will connect to the website (YouTube in this case), ask for the same video, and grab it from the point it left. This property is known as the resume capability. Although some file hosting sites such as MediaFire, and RapidShare etc., do not give you the resume capability, IDM on these websites downloads very fast the required thing. It is a great feature.

My Opinion and Review:
From its official website, you will have to buy IDM, and it says that you can buy it from its official reseller in Pakistan. When I asked them, they told me that a lifetime liscence was for 3500/- Rs/-. WOW... hey hey, stop there... I can't buy just a small software for such a huge sum... So I decided to find a patch for the trial version, which will make it the original version. So, I succeeded, and you can now enjoy this great download from my blog, ABSOLUTELY FREE!

The installation instructions are given in the .zip file the you will download. Be sure to extract the files from the .zip file before use, otherwise the patching will be useless. Extracting files is easier, just go into the .zip file, and over there, in the right pane (WINDOWS XP/VISTA), or on the above pane (WINDOWS 7/VISTA), you will find a button known as extract files, or extract all files. After extraction, follow the instructions in the README file.

Introduction and My Experience:
Have you ever thought of recording your screen, when you are doing something, and then upload the made video to youtube. Well it is really simple. Previously, I had been using CamStudio. But its really difficult to live with that, as it captures a very little area on the screen. But not for long. I found the HyperCam software, which captures your entire screen in HD. Thats a very big accomplishment. I went to the official HyperCam website, but look what I found there... BUY HYPERCAM! Man than sucks, as I cant buy it online.

But after some surfing, and downloads, I found how to crack the HyperCam. Read the instructions below, and then download HyperCam, by hitting the Download button below...

Installing Instructions:
After you have downloaded, right click on the .zip file and click Extract All. Having done extracting, a new folder will be created with all the files in it. Now check whether you are using a 32-Bit or 64-Bit version of the Windows. If it is a 32-Bit version, right click on the "HC2Setup" file, and click "Run as administrator". However, if you are using the 64-Bit version of Windows, right click on the "HC2Setup64" file, and then click "Run as administrator", as also mentioned before. Now, using normal install methods, install the software. DO NOT RUN THE SOFTWARE YET! Then, return to the same folder as from where you ran the setup file for the software. Now right click on the "HyCam2.hc2lic" file, and click copy. Now go to the installation directory, the directory where you installed the software, (its normally in the C:\Program Files\HyperCam folder). Over there paste the thing you copied before. You will be prompted to either replace the same file in the directory, or cancel the job. Click replace (In XP, it is by clicking Yes to All or Yes, whereas in 7 and Vista, it is by COPY AND REPLACE). Do this, and now run HyperCam. And you are all done. Just go through all the options, and you'll understand HyperCam. Its easy. And record to your heart's content...

My Opinion and Review:

WinRAR is a compression software which you need to buy from (http://www.rarlab.com) i.e. the developer's website. I downloaded a trial version from there, and found it very difficult to keep up with it, because every time I launched the software, it prompted me that "This is a trial version". It is really annoying, you know. I then finally, after browsing the web for a long time (as I also needed the software badly), I found this solution... You'd probable love the neat and clean install.

Installation Instructions:

Hit the download button and you will be redirected towards the MediaFire page which allows you to download the setup file. After downloading the setup file, right click on it and click RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. It will run the install wizard. Install the software, but be sure to select all the extensions when prompted to choose the extensions which will run with the software. And you are done, install the software with lifetime liscence...

Office 2010 vs Office 2007

When installing Office, we think ten times whether to install Office 2007 or 2010. Most of the people don't care about the version, as they say that they like the one that's easy. These people should correct their opinion, as everything first tough is learnt, and nothing comes easily. Anyways, today I will be comparing features of the two versions. I am in the favor of Office 2010, as I myself am using it, and would also like those who have office 2007, to just try it. Obviously, I am talking about the Professional Plus version. At first, I was unable to crack office 2010, as it is really expensive to buy. But it really can be done. Look for my post "Cracking Office 2010" under the Tips and Tricks Category. Ok, now lets get to the original topic.

Comparing the major things in both versions, like Word, Excel and PowerPoint, we see that there is no special difference in Word, except more accessible options in Word. In Excel, the selecting options, as well as formula options have been improved. In PowerPoint, more styles have been added, but the same can also be downloaded from the Office Store. The good thing in PowerPoint 2010 is that Advanced Options have been inserted as simple options in the Insert tab. All the options may not have been discussed in the post, but the videos below might help you to get a better comparison...

Akhri Chataan by Naseem Hijazi

Yet another book by my favorite writer, Naseem Hijazi. The topic of the book combines the greatness of Naseem Hijazi's pen with the conquests of Genghis Khan, and the treatment of his conquered people after his conquests. The book tells the entire history about Genghis Khan, about how he gathered his large army, about how Baghdad was the main centre, or Akhri Chataan, that could stop this flood of the conquests of Genghis Khan. But again, like the weak history of Muslim rulers after Asharah-e-Mubashara, the leaders were luxurious, and did not want to help their Muslim neighbour, Egypt. They had made secret agreement with Genghis Khan, and so went on believing their stupid belief that Genghis Khan would help them. But, they could not succeed, as when a cat starts chasing mouses, she doesn't differ between which one she takes in, even if one mouse had helped her in the past. Thus, in other words, the story can be taken of as the downfall of the great city of Baghdad, which at that time, was known as the house of knowledge, and scholars from all over the world went there to get professional education. Also, in case of military power, they had it all, and also had great defence. But when brothers fail to support each other, none are spared, but all are killed, as in the story of two oxen, who splitted, and the lion ate them both seperately...

The novel consists of two parts, i.e. two books, each in the .PDF format, for the ease of use...

Andheri Raat Ke Musafir by Naseem Hijazi

Hey everyone, got another urdu novel for you by my favorite writer, Naseem Hijazi. The name, as it gives, is about last days of Muslims in Spain, when they had been surrounded by christian forces. The leaders at the capital could easily fight, but they preferred their luxury over their freedom, and tried to make good relations with the enemy, when it was at their door. The enemy, taking the chance, proposed that all the best commanders be handed over to them as a prove that the Muslims in Spain would not attack, so that the Christians can return. Having many courtiers who had secret contact with Frendinand, the king of Christians, they killed all the people who loved their nation, and thus proved to be the best party of the nation. When the commanders had been handed over, and all the nation extremists had been killed one by one by the government at the capital itself, the nation was bound to doom, and finally Fredinand sent a message to Prince Abdullah, who had killed his father to take the throne, who handed the keys of main fort to the christians, and ran away, and the Muslims at Spain suffered the result of doings of their leaders, and that was the end of the great rule of Muslims at Spain. A country which Tariq bin Zayyad had captured, was now in the hands of christians.

Making Quiz with PowerPoint

Have you ever thought of making your own quiz...

After making a google search, and reading about.com's lengthy, I reached this conclusion. Although I made many tries, but you know that difference between the Office versions makes it difficult. The About.com told me how to make a quiz in Office 2003 (just imagine). However, I finally managed to learn it, and made a sample quiz, of which I also recorded a video, shown below. I hope you take guidance from it... So why don't you take a look at it, and then post a link of your uploaded quiz, for people to see and get inspiration... I did the work in PowerPoint 2010, but as most of the people are using Office 2007, so I don't think that there is any difference, as if you follow the video, you may even be able to do the same in Office 2000 and 2003...

Changing your Windows 7 Logon Background

It is a fact that after our upgrade to windows, we cant live with that stupid blue background that windows 7 has ultimately (except for the branded OEM versions), like the one here: (http://goo.gl/6kUQc). So after searching youtube, and going through various articles about safety of the windows after changing the Login screen background, I came to a conclusion.

We basically have two options in this regard, rather to choose a logon image of our own choice, or to brand the windows with OEM version of the windows, i.e. if you have a DELL laptop/PC, you can easily have the background which comes in computers with company installed windows 7. So the choice is your own. I have given both alternatives, and you can trust me that both the solutions are perfect, self-tried and absolutely virus free.

Branding windows as an OEM version:
You will need a software for this basically called the 7 Brander. It can easily be downloaded from the link provided. The 7 Brander lets you choose the company whose computer you are using with Windows 7. After you select that, you will be able to brand your version of windows. After I branded my DELL Laptop, it looked like this: (http://goo.gl/c6fY1). Its simple, easy and works like a charm... so go ahead, try it... Hit the download button below to download 7Brander...!

Choosing an image of your choice as a logon: This is also very easy. This requires a software known as "Tweaks.com Logon Changer". The software allows you to select the image of your own choice, and then use it as the logon background. The software can be downloaded @ download.com, but I have uploaded it to my MediaFire account, and given you a direct link for ease, and an always available to you software... Dont be afraid, or scared, of doing something wrong with your computer, cuz I have personally tried them all, and I found no issues... Using FlashVortex as your Flash

Flash is the latest video interactive format, that is displayed on websites. The interface supports buttons, animated texts, clocks, and even menus. But the bad thing is that making Flash videos requires professional training on some specific software (the latest software is by Adobe, known as Adobe Flash CS5). However, many people, who make free websites, and cannot afford the high-price Adobe Flash, or don't want to learn Flash because of its length and complicity.

As a solution, many flash websites have been developed, which provide a hassle free interface in creating professional flash animations. Of course you can register with them by giving money, or you can create free animations, with a small ad of the website on the animation.

A cool website, which I use for my animations, and buttons is http://www.flashvortex.com. It is a great website with easy interface. So I would recommend all of my readers that if they are creating free websites using any of the free website clients such as Yola or Weebly, they can use help from the website mentioned. Also, I would recommend them to download the animation and then embed it into their website... Otherwise, the video can also straightly be loaded from the code given by the FLASHVORTEX website. The Problem in direct embed is that it is pretty slow, and that makes a big problem, like in some cases the above video might not even load... The instructions for embedding the animation (in case you download it) are also given in the Tips and Tricks Category... Till Then, BYE BYE...
